Went on a Wednesday for a later evening date. Drinks were delicious and so was the sushi. Chloe was our server and she was great! Attentive and approachable. Good conversation. Just a great vibe. Will be returning for the scallops.

My wife and I just moved from Austin and were walking in Carytown when we noticed this place. They have a beautiful patio, but like several in the area it is somehow not dig-friendly...I'll never understand how in 2 weeks living here I could come across more than 10 small patios that will not allow dogs so if you're a local, stop pretending this town is dog friendly and color my Texan stars frustrated. It was busy, so it took a bit to get seated and served, but we were not in a hurry--everyone was friendly and pleasant. I missed a pic of our oysters, but they were enjoyable, though rather large and we never were told what locale from which they derived. The shaved octopus was the star of the show (a little less red pepper flake would perfect it), and the corn crab soup was tasty (a touch more crab meat lumped in would elevate this). The grouper tacos were great--finally a taco w a descently prepared tortilla, but they needed a little kick, perhaps w sliced jalapenos or something. The pommes aligot were tasty, but lacked that cheesey pull we expected. We bought a bottle of wine, too, and the wine list is something that could use a face lift. Overall, this is a great place to eat--atmosphere and vibe inside looked as pretty as outside--service was friendly, and the food was good. The happy hour menu looks very attractive. We'll be back to try more things as the menu is quite extensive. 4 stars for now, but tweaks to the wine menu, reconsidering the outdoor no-pet policy, and perhaps us just n finding some hidden gems on the menu will bump this to 5.

Visited from Tampa and a friend told us this was one of the best spots in the Richmond area for seafood, and had to stop by! We were able to find street parking pretty easily near the restaurant, and immediately got seated outside on the patio. This place has more of an upscale ambiance, and absolutely perfect for a date on the town! We started with an East Coast Roll, which was fresh and very good! I had the seared salmon with a corn salsa and loved it. The salmon was cooked perfectly, it was plated beautifully and the sauce was an excellent complement. Also was a great location for an after-dinner stroll! Will certainly be back if I'm ever in the area again!

We were driving from Outer Banks to DC and wanted a decent seafood lunch. My husband specifically wanted a Po'Boy and after a quick search it was evident that East Coast Provisions was a higher end restaurant with a great lunch menu. We were not disappointed and loved our lunch. My husband ordered Oysters Po'Boy with salad, his salad was freshly made with fresh ingredients, Po'Boy was a little on the smaller side but there were lots of oysters on it. I ordered the lobster sandwich with truffle fries and both of them were amazing, lots of fresh chunks of lobster so delicious! My son ordered the angus burger with fries and he said it was delicious. We were super happy with our choice and would highly recommend them. Service was also outstanding!

Our friends in Richmond brought us here to enjoy some dinner. Cute little, bustling area! Nice seafood choices to choose from. I ordered the shrimp and grits, while my bf ordered the mahi and ordered the shaved octopus for the table. The octopus was delicious! My grits were alright, a little too gummy for my taste, but the shrimp was decent. Their cocktails are good too. If you're in the Richmond area, this neighborhood is a fun spot to check out.

Excellent meal for a rainy night in Richmond. We were able to find parking on the street and luckily a table during Easter dinner. We were pleasantly greeted with the wait staff. We initially were seated upstairs however there was a draft and so we switched to downstairs, no issues. We ordered the grilled oysters, veggie bowl and the blackened mahi mahi. All of the dishes were deliciously prepared! The grilled oysters, hubby's first time trying this, and he enjoyed them! Came with 5 pieces with a broiled layer of parm cheese. Followed by my veggie bowl, which were veggies on top of rice grits. It also had a kick of gochujang sauce and Kim chi! Hubby got the mahi mahi, he absolutely loved this! I liked the corn and bean salad it came with too! Overall really enjoyed our meal and this restaurant!

A go-to date night spot for us! The food is consistently good, the service is incredible and the vibes are cozy. If you're looking for fresh seafood in Richmond, this is your place. It feels like taking a trip straight to New England! While the sushi selection is limited, every roll is expertly crafted to have an even balance of textures and flavors. The foie gras + tuna appetizer is indulgent and the garnish really elevates the dish. Their burger (not pictured) is really tasty too and their crab cakes are massive!! Every time I come here I enjoy myself!

Had a delicious lunch here. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside. The service was great and I loved that they had a hot lobster roll with butter and not mayo. While I wasn't the biggest fan of the actual lobster roll, I did appreciate how much lobster they included. It's expensive but you get your moneys worth! The menu looked amazing and next time I'm very interested in trying their oysters and sushi rolls.
